My life is engulfed by a love for fresh air, messy hair, and laughter. I love to do anything that involves these things, including, but definitely not limited to, the following: fully sending it through knee deep powder on my skis or snowboard, camping out under full moons, submerging myself in physics and math problems, skinny dipping in high alpine lakes, ‘accidentally’ losing my shoes, paddling my canoe into the northern waterways (and away from all of my problems), finding genuine connections with those around me, getting dirt under my fingernails, and of course, practicing yoga anywhere and everywhere.
I graduated in December of 2016 with my 200 hour yoga teaching certification from Om Ananda Yoga in Fort Collins. I believe that yoga is more than a physical workout; rather, it’s a practice and a medicine for the mind, the body, and the soul. Yoga became part of my life at a very young age and it has since developed into a dynamic force that has helped me grow through good times and bad times. Some of the different types of yoga that I teach or have taught in the past include yin, restorative, slow flow, hatha, vinyasa, and meditation. My daily mantra is: if you cannot see the light, be the light.
