…& that she does. Tannis has been practicing yoga on & off her mat for 15+ years. It wasn’t long after being introduced to heated classes she completed her 200hr YTT at Savannah Power Yoga in 2012. Tannis’ classes are known to be creative, challenging & explorative. She uses a unique mix of music to accentuate the flow along with guidance to link breath & movement. She feels yoga is not about skill, but it is about awareness. She encourages her students to remain focused but with a sense of curiosity…to pick up on their own habits, explore edges & comfort zones. Her dynamic practice leaves you feeling refreshed & renewed/having found that happy place within. Tannis has continued her education of yoga thru Yoga Therapy training with Amy Ippoliti, attended several workshops with Kathyrn Budig & of course always a student learning from her fellow yogis each & every time she steps on her mat. Tannis encourages her students to completely surrender to the journey, to be accepting of what is…she believes our practice grows with patience over time, it becomes the glue that keeps us together. When she’s not in the studio, Tannis loves a good road trip or exploring the outdoors with her aussie/lab Charlie.
