Laura began her yoga practice in 2014, after a big shift in her life and started a slow romance with practice from there. It was first mediation that gave Laura back her life as previously she could not escape the constant over-thinking of the mind and an emotional pain in her chest that would not let up. After seeing the power to mediation to give Laura her live back, she then turned to the practice of yoga. Laura found that meditation gave her the freedom to not be a slave to her mind and yoga gave her the strength and calmness to truly be herself and share the gift of individuality. Her practice has and continues to be a space from continuous emotion, metal and spiritual awakening. At the age of 26, after what seemed like much pondering, Laura took the leap to complete her yoga teacher training.

Laura has had the honour of studying with some the best modern-day teachers in yoga and has a deep respect for all spiritual paths. Laura's style is a blend of many different systems which she has experienced with over the years. Her practice focuses on precise alignment of the physical body combined with a breath based Vinyasa flow to link each pose in an effortless way.

She practices and teaches the classical path of Raja yoga, which is based on Patanjali’s eight limbed approach, the royal path of yoga. This encompasses all levels of asana, modified to meet the needs of students, conscious living, breath work, mantra, and meditation. Laura believes in the complete system of yoga, which includes everything from the physical to the subtle, creating balance on the mat and in your life.
