when amanda was introduced to yoga in 2005, she fell fast and hard for the practice. after years of unhealthy habits and attitudes, those early days of exploration were the first steps on a long journey of recovery and self-discovery.
along the way, amanda discovered vinyasa yoga, and the pace and movements made such intuitive sense in her body that she knew right away that this was the practice for her.
She completed her 200 hour training at Heart of Yoga School in Carrboro, NC. This life-changing, transformative experience shaped both her personal and teaching practices. Her personal practice has evolved to include asana, pranayama, chanting, mantra repetition, and meditation. She aims to provide students with a loving, nurturing environment wherein they can explore their own bodies and selves, nourish their spirits, and cultivate self-acceptance.
