My experience in the health and fitness industry includes teaching fitness classes at a variety of facilities such as corporate fitness centers, YMCAs, park and recreation centers, physical therapy clinics, hospital-affiliated health clubs, universities, Air Force bases, and public health clubs such as Bally Total Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and Washington Sports Clubs.
I am well-versed in several class formats and am best known for my versatility and precise body alignment cueing. In addition to teaching fitness classes, I have also initiated programs such as Jump START ( Start Taking Aerobics and Revitalize Today), Pump It Up (a class format similar to Body Pump), and Strength and Endurance (personal training in a group setting format).
My experience and credentials notwithstanding, my track record of success is largely due to my passion for motivating and inspiring people to feel good about themselves. I am most proud of bringing a sense of mindfulness to all of my classes, which has encouraged participants to take a more balanced approach to fitness and to listen to their bodies in a healthier way.
