With an extensive background in dance performance, instruction and choreography, I first came to group fitness as a college student to enjoy movement, physical exercise and to keep a healthy, active body. I began practicing yoga and participating in a variety of group fitness and cycle classes on a daily basis. As I continued to develop a deeper understanding of the transformative essence of physical fitness, I was inspired to share this gift with others. I desired to educate, motivate, support and encourage others along their journey to meet their personal health and wellness goals while finding success through fitness. Upon graduating from The Ohio State University, I completed my 200 RYT Yoga Training. I have continued to deepen my education with Lifetime Academy by completing certifications in various types of group fitness formats and Pilates. In 2014, I began leading group classes, conducting private sessions, hosting workshops at Lifetime Fitness. I have also provided fitness presentations and classes for schools and businesses. As a fitness enthusiasts, I am passionate about what do – teaching. As a teacher, I value new challenges as opportunities and intentionally seek out opportunities to learn and grow so I can help others achieve their fitness goals and improve their lifestyle.
