Anna Laura is a professional trainer and health coach, entrepreneur, and bikini fitness pro who has been featured in Oxygen Magazine, Health Magazine, HuffIngton Post, and more. Anna Laura has been a keynote speaker at the United States Military Academy at West Point, in honor of her fallen brother 1LT Tyler Parten, a 2007 grad who was KIA in Afghanistan.
After a series of devastating family trials as a teenager, including the loss of her oldest brother, Anna Laura faced functional depression throughout college, accepting a career path she was not fully passionate about. After beginning a rather stressful graduate program, she joined a gym, and started to workout as a way to cope with the stress. Her workouts were supplemented by learning how to properly fuel her body with good nutrition, and how to fuel her mind with personal development audiobooks and podcasts.
In 2017, she competed in her first bikini fitness competition. She says, "I learned so much about my own physical and mental strength during the preparation process." During this competition, she took home first place in her division and then first overall, to receive her Pro card. She had become a professional athlete.
Throughout her training, many women reached out asking advice on fitness and nutrition. "I knew I didn’t want to just create workout plans for women," she says, "I wanted to create lifestyle shifts. That is when my entrepreneurial journey began." She created her own web-based business focusing on establishing the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. To further enhance her own knowledge and experience, she became a certified personal trainer, fitness-nutrition specialist, and health coach.
"My business mission is to equip women with the tools needed to become self-sufficient and self-motivated to live their best life—mind, body, and soul. As many of my clients are busy moms or women who travel, I design quick, yet intense, home-based workouts and incorporate what I call 'lifestyle nutrition'—where you do not have to meal prep for hours or can’t enjoy a night out. My programs also focus on shedding limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging habits, replacing them with healthier, sustaining ones by incorporating mindset training. I create a space for women to come together as a community and have meaningful, impactful conversations, and connect with other like-minded individuals."
Anna Laura also teaches in various studios in Philadelphia and nationwide.
