Tanya Edwards

Tanya discovered and fell in love with Pilates a few months after moving to Maryland in 2005. She attended both Mat and Reformer Pilates classes and was amazed at the “whole body” approach and results… leaving her with a feeling of strength and rejuvenation. She believed in the practice and the results so much that she wanted to share it with others and began teaching Mat Pilates and Yoga classes in 2008. Since then, Tanya participated in and completed the inaugural Rock the Reformer instructor training course in 2012 and then earned her teaching certification through Balanced Body University in 2016. She now teaches Group Reformer, Mat and private Pilates classes regularly. Tanya especially loves meeting new clients and helping them progress in their Pilates practice. “I am continually amazed at how quickly a client can improve and see results from Pilates. That ‘aha moment’ is such a joy to see and I love helping clients find their just-right challenge.”
