I stepped on the yogic path 15 years ago, alone, in my living room.  I was introduced to prenatal yoga to help with the discomforts of pregnancy.  Learning about my body and the power of my breath brought a peace I had never experienced before.  After I gave birth to my daughter I began to strengthen my body and relieve stress by venturing into vinyasa and restorative yoga.  Through years of refinement, practice, and education I realized yoga can be for everyone and I knew I wanted to share this gift with others.  After 13 years of practicing alone, I took the ultimate plunge and enrolled in a year-long teacher-training program.  Under the guidance of a most tender and gifted teacher, I acquired knowledge of anatomy, proper alignment, and breath.  I learned the skills to teach all levels of yoga through heartfelt teachings that create a total mind-body experience.   Using clear, concise verbal cues and directions allow students to engage fully in their practice, creating a place for self-discovery, challenge, fun and consciousness in every class.
