I have always loved to dance and exercise and have always found that it is more fun and sustainable to exercise with other people and music! I had duel careers for 15 years of both Nursing and Fitness. When I had children, I tapered back the nursing until I was very busy with just Fitness!

My classes are very entertaining, effective, and safe. No matter what kind of group fitness experience you are looking for, I can help make it fun and worthwhile for you. I have enough experience, that I can start a class with people I have never met, and give them a class they will enjoy and derive great benefit from. Whether a person has a bad back or a trick knee or other conditions, I can modify the activity for them. People of all ages and fitness levels feel comfortable in my classes. Aqua is a favorite of mine and at most resorts. At Sandels, my husband and I made a good team in that we were both very social and invited everyone we met to join the classes. We took part in most of the resort activities such as mixers and nightly socials. We got along great with the entertainment staff and shared a lot of ideas, music and enthusiasm. They would take my classes whenever possible.

I have taught the past few years for Fitbodies at Couples San Souci, Couples, Tower Isle, and Secrets Montego Bay.  What a blast! The resort staff is happy to have you there and are very supportive.  You meet the guests either around the resort or in your class.  They keep coming back to your class as new guest also join.

I look forward to going to Mexico with Fitbodies in January 2022 at both Secrets and Dreams.

Currently, at home in Michigan, I have taught all kinds of classes from Aqua to Stability Ball to Zumba.  In the past few years, I have gained a true appreciation of the practice of Yoga and Pilates. I understand why it is called a "practice", because it is never the same and just keeps getting better.  I teach twice per week, primarily Hatha Yoga and do my own practice at least 3 times per week.  The breathing techniques help me throughout my day in all kinds of circumstances.  We all need reminders to "breath...."

Now that my children are very much on their own, I love to travel more and explore other venues. I love teaching and sharing my enthusiasm for good health, the joy of exercise and mind/body experiences!
