Laura McDowell

A mother of three active girls, Laura was a contractor with the government until recently, working on the electronic health record for our military and their family members. She has always had a nurturing spirit. When her mother was ill with ALS, Laura would massage her atrophied muscles to give her some relief.  Realizing that she wanted to do more to care for others, Laura went back to school for Massage Therapy and graduated from the American Massage and Bodywork Institute in 2017.  In her spare time, she enjoys family time with her daughters, dancing, watching old movies, photography, and pretending she's a DC tourist, even though she's lived in the area for more than 30 years.
