LAURA WATSON

Laura Watson began practicing yoga in 2003 and practiced on and off for several years until taking it more seriously in 2008, when she discovered power vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga.  In 2010 she completed her Yoga Teacher Training program with Jason Hulshof from the Jonny Kest Center for Yoga and Terry Johnson.  In addition to the Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Slow Flow styles she learned in the training program, she also went on to study Yin Yoga, kids' yoga and restorative and chair yoga.  She has taught a variety of yoga classes and meditation classes at health clubs, yoga studios and special events.  She has continued her formal training in Ashtanga yoga with Manju Jois, Greg Tebb and Richard Freeman and has taken a college level Anatomy and Physiology course at a local technical college to deepen her understanding of the human body.  Laura deeply enjoys working with students to deepen their practice, their breath and their relationship with their bodies, hearts and minds.
