In short, I'm a health and fitness fanatic!  Ever since I took myself from a couch potato to a marathon finisher and group exercise instructor--I knew it was more than possible to change behavior and lifestyle from unfit to fit.  Personally knowing what it feels like to lose 50 lbs, I have always felt a strong connection to my class paricipants in helping them reach their health and fitness goals.  I strive to keep the environment in my class extremely positive and upbeat.  I know when I let my passion for fitness shine through it touches people in ways I never knew it could.  My participants are more than just my students, they have become my friends and family.  I believe fitness is about cameraderie and support.  My own sucess with lifestyle change encouraged me to pursue fitness on a much deeper level, returning to school to complete my master's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in strength and conditioning.
