I have been practicing yoga and mat pilates for almost 7 years. My interest in yoga and mat pilates began when I realized I needed healthier ways to deal with the everyday stressors of life. Movement spoke to me, and these practices in particular allowed me to truly find a connection between mind, body and spirit. Not only did I see results in my physical wellness, but my overall emotional health began to significantly improve. In order to take my practice to the next level, I earned my Mat Pilates Certification from Power Pilates in August of 2014, and shortly after, I enrolled in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Red Hot Yoga in Atlanta, Georgia. I earned my RYT-200 Certification in July 2015. My training prepared me to teach a variety of styles of Hatha Yoga, including: Vinyassa Flow, Gentle Flow, and Power Yoga. My goal as a yoga instructor is to support others on their journey of self-exploration as they experience the mind, body, breath connection through a safe, nuturing, yet challenging yoga practice.
