I have always been interested in being healthy. I am a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. I have been practicing since 1988. I used to teach aerobics as a means of supplementing my income during college. I discovered yoga in 1998 after my third child was born. I practiced a hot Vinyasa style yoga for three years. I actually hurt my neck very badly in yoga requiring surgery. I left the yoga world for many years. Then, in 2013 I felt very locked in myself. I had been walking everyday for years and years but didn't feel like I did when I was practicing yoga. I discovered restorative yoga and went religiously to that class. After I got my confidence for yoga back, I started doing Slow Flow and Yin. I have practiced almost everyday since 2014. My teacher offered teacher training to me in August 2017. I gobbled all the teachings up and enjoyed every minute of my teacher training. I graduated in December 2017 and started teaching right away.
