I have been practicing various types of yoga for over 8 years. I started practicing after a back injury left me in constant pain and discomfort. Over the years, yoga has transformed from a physical exercise to a spiritual and meditative practice. In 2017, I registered for my first teacher training and became a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) certified in Kundinyasa yoga (a blend of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Vinyasa as taught by Krishnamacharya). I continue to have a personal practice as well as practice at a studio to continue to learn and grow. When teaching, I enjoy creating athletic yoga flows that match my sports background as well as incorporating traditional meditations into each class.
