Tricia plunged into her first yoga class over 17 years ago. A veteran gymnast, with injuries to both shoulders, she longed to find the mind-body connection tumbling provided her without the stress it created on the body. After attending a 6-week class series, she was hooked! Always in competition with others, she found at the end of the course her mindset had completely transformed from that of a physical contest to one more focused on self-awareness, discovery and acceptance.
As a self-diagnosed audiophile with an internal soundtrack and music that makes her world spin madly on, Tricia uses her passion for music and the understanding of bodies in motion to guide students through an energetic and stimulating practice. She believe that each time you step onto your yoga mat is a new opportunity to redefine, challenge, and accept yourself as you are beneath the ever-changing magnifying glass we hold ourselves under.
After completing her 200-hour teacher training with TriBalance, a Yoga Alliance RYS, in June 2015 she hit the ground running and considers it an honor and blessing to be able to share her love of yoga to the world. Her classes combine playful sequencing and music to create a positive and fun environment to rediscover yourself in while sweating it out on your mat. Tricia is currently working on obtain her 500-Hour Certificate with Yoga Medicine.
