Kristine Kolzing

I have been actively teaching Pilates since January 2009, shortly after successfully completing the Pendleton Pilates Teacher Training & Certification Program.  I am currently certified to teach Reformer, Mat, and Ball classes and I continue to enhance my education by attending Pilates workshops and by practicing Pilates on a regular basis. I was the founder and primary instructor for Pilates for Runners, a group mat class that focuses on runner-specific strength training and injury prevention.

Working with my clients to deepen their practice, connect their minds to their bodies, and gain strength and confidence inspires me everyday to learn and grow as a teacher.  My main focus in class is to work in proper form, following Joseph Pilates’ philosophy that form is essential to a creating a healthy spine and strong core.  My classes are designed for a wide variety of skill levels and physical challenges such as spine, neck, and joint issues.

In addition to teaching Pilates, I walk, run and practice yoga. I am a health and wellness consultant and have helped hundreds of people to live a healthier life!
