I discovered my passion for yoga and wellness when I was just twelve years old at Odyssey Teen Camp, a summer camp for self-discovery in upstate New York. Dealing with severe anxiety and depression as a teenager, yoga changed and ultimately saved my life in so many ways. It gave me a safe space to explore my body, while also allowing me to get out of my head.
My experience with yoga as a teenager inspired me to complete my 200-hour training and spread the healing power of yoga to children, teens, and adults. I currently teach yoga to children and teens in schools in New York City, and returned to Odyssey Teen Camp this past summer to teach teens about yoga, self-care, mindfulness, meditation, and holistic healing to better deal with anxiety, depression, and the overall stresses of adolescence. My goal is to give my students a safe space to explore themselves and make room for self discovery and transformation.
