I have always been interested in being healthy. I regularly took group fitness classes (group cycling, step aerobics and boxing) at my local gym, but it wasn't until my first child was born that I really started kicking it into gear. I became the instructor for the classes I had been attending and starting focusing on competitions. I started Crossfit shortly thereafter and became even more engrossed in fitness and nutrition. I went from competing in running races (from 5Ks to marathons) to Crossfit competitions that crossed over into road bike racing. Soon after I studied to become a personal trainer. My personal training business has moved from the local gym to the facility that is built in my garage. I get to train myself along with others by simply walking out to my garage. I am an incredibly motivating individual and love to bring out the best of what others thought impossible.
I have a bachelors degree in Biology that I utilize in both my fitness career as well as my full-time career as a toxicologist.
