Erica Smith

Hello everyone!! 

I'm Logan Smith- a Zumba/Fitness instructor from Eldersburg, MD. First and foremost- thanks for taking time to read a little about me.Im a mother of a 4 year old boy- with a little one on the way. Unlike most- I didn't grow up with this knack for dancing, I found my love for it in the back row of a zumba class after i had my first son. I couldn't get myself motivated back into a gym. I found a studio owned by a friend and decided to give it a try. They had a camera set up where I could enjoy class and check in on my son. I felt so comfortable. Not only with that- but with being surrounded by participants in the group fitness setting. I had NO IDEA people were so nice while working out! I was so used to that "keep to your own equipment- headphones in mentality, I felt like I had stepped into another universe full of just fun, loving happy dancing people! Before I knew it- I was hooked. I would work my way up to that stage where I got licensed to teach Zumba in 2015. Even though I began to sub and teach soon after- I always made sure to set time to be a student and learn from all the wonderful instructors out there to enhance my experience and knowledge to begin teaching other classes. I became AFAA certified in 2018 and I am so excited to share my continued journey with my participants. 

While I am not in a zumba class, I am a supervisor for group homes for the deaf, blind and developmentally disabled, and an american sign language interpreter. My heart is invested in making sure they are supported, welcomed with open arms and living their best life. I am currently in the process of setting up a class for my homes at my office. This is where you will find us really FEELING THE MUSIC!
