Karyn’s personal training and group classes are based on motivating and inspiring clients to push past their comfort zones to reach and surpass their fitness goals. With her personal training clients Karyn is able to focus on individualized programming for those wishing to take their fitness to the next level where she is able to utilize many different modalities of training including kettlebells, TRX, the heavy bag, ropes and Medicine Balls. Her methods of training are functional, effective and efficient and she believes in giving 110% to push her clients to continually be their best.
Karyn’s passion for teaching group fitness began in college where she started as a Step Aerobics instructor. In addition to group fitness and personal training, Karyn is also the director of advancement and development and physical education teacher at St. Mary Magdalen School in Oakville, CT. She and her husband, Jay, are the proud parents of 8 year old twins, Jake and Emily. Karyn believes a strong family foundation will help you tackle any of life’s obstacles. She also believes that you must step out of your comfort zone both in the gym and in life because that’s where the magic happens!
