For over 25 years I have been studying and practicing Martial Arts. Started out when I was 6 years old and ever since became a part of my life. For over 25 years, I have trained under multiple grandmasters and instructors of all levels as well as studied a range of styles. I am proficient in Jeet Kune Do, Taekwondo, and Isshinryu styles. I have also studied Aikido, Hapkido, Capoeira, Okinawa Shorin-Ryu, and Kendo.
In my earlier years, I trained for a chance at the 2004 Olympics and 2005 Worlds in the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) in Soul, Korea and competed in multiple states, regional, national, and collegiate Tournaments. Where I won both the Pennsylvania Open, The Big 10 Competition in 2008 and got 3rd overall at the Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference in 2011.
Currently, I am still training, practicing and teaching of all ages whoever wants to learn, all the while subbing Kickboxing, Bootcamp, and Body Blast classes at my local Athletic Club. I am currently certified as a Primary Fitness Group Instructor, have a blackbelt in Jeet Kune Do and a 3rd dan in Taekwondo, where I am currently working on my 4th dan in Taekwondo and my 1st dan in Isshinryu. I believe fitness is a necessity for a healthy lifestyle and a way of life.
