I am an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instuctor since 1991. My class styles include step, kickboxing, only abs, "Core Motion" - an exclusive medicine ball class, "Body Bar Boot Camp" - using the Body Bar, "Rock Bottom"- a 45 minute lower body (legs, glutes and buttocks) class, "Power Ball: - a cardio and strength training class utilizing stability balls. My focus in my group fitness classes is on form, core initiation, balance, safety and making every exercise FUN! I am also an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and have been training both in-house clients as well as clients at my YMCA since 2003. My training philosophy and techniques include core stabilization, body weight training, resistance strength training and functional movements.
