Marley Merrick

My name is Marley Merrick and I am a certified indoor cycling and group fitness instructor. I am 20 years old and a junior in college. I am from Deep Creek Lake, MD and teach at a local gym in DCL. I also teach at a gym in Timmonium, MD as I go to school about 15 minutes away. I am an occupational therapy major, so teaching spin goes hand-in-hand with being an OT major. My entire schooling and major focuses on getting clients back to participating in their daily occupations and interests when barriers prevent this from happening. Teaching spin and group exercise has helped me in my major because I am making a difference in people's lives by inspiring them to work out and lead healthy lives. Due to being a student, I have extended winter and summer breaks. I try to travel as much as I can before I start my career. Traveling and teaching in new gyms and to new clients would be so much fun and I would enjoy impacting people around the world through my classes.
