Amelia Robertson

   Hi, My name is Amelia Robertson. have three beautiful daughters ages 8,6 and 10 months. I am happily married to my husband Dr, Adam Beall. We live in Anderson, South Carolina where I am a Zumba Instructor and he is the Director of Bariatric Surgery.We are always traveling, trying to get out of town every weekend if possible! We love to show our daughters different cultures and show them what is out in the world. They love traveling just as much as we do, if there is a pool they are happy!

   I was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and quickly moved to Flagstaff, Arizona which is where is grew up until I was 21 years old. I then moved to San Diego, California for 3 years and then to Seattle, Washington for 2 years. After that I settled in Anderson, South Carolina. I love it here, we are close to major cities, we have a beautiful lake and so many options of things to do.

  I have been dancing since I was 2 years old. I have danced Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap and African Drum and Dance. I practiced all of these styles until i was 22 years old when I had my first daughter. After my second daughter was born I became a member of the Anderson Area YMCA. I attended a Zumba class where I fell in LOVE! I went the NEXT week and was certified. After that I was introduced to Barre. I was thrilled to be able to use my ballet training once again. I have been at the YMCA for 4 years, all of the members are so special to me. I love watching them grow and helping them to maintain and reach their fitness goals. I also like just having a great time in class, laughing and smiling and making it a great time for them where they can feel comfortable and always welcome.

  Zumba and Barre are both so very dear to my heart, being able to dance EVERY DAY just like when I was growing up  makes me feel complete! I am always on the go and will always instruct as many classes as I can. Helping to improve others improves me and I am so grateful.
