I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a BS in Pol. science/ Public Policy with an emphasis in health.
I started teaching group fitness classes as a teen at Grand Valley State University, as part of their SHAPE( Staff Health And Physical Education) program.
While attending MSU, I worked at the Intermural Circle( IM circle) wellness facility as a group fitness intructor.
Upon graduating from MSU, I persude a career in wellness/ Director of Fitness at Ramblewood Tennis and Health Club. I then evolved into a pharmaceutical sales cardiovascular specialist while also teaching health and wellness classes.
I have a life long passion for wellness that led me to further my professional health journey.
I am a certified Health Coach and GF Instuctor through the American Council on Exercise.
I hold accreditations in Mat Pilates through Balanced Body, Nutrional Therapist through the Health Science Academy, Spinning through Johnny G, Aquatic certification through SCW, Body Pump through Les Mills and Yoga through Midwest yoga center.
I currently work with individuals as a certified Health Coach and teach a wide range of group fitness classes at PowerHouse Gym. I work contractually with a local Physical Therapy clinic and also several area high school sports teams.
My passion is to lift and motivate others to become empowered to live their best life- not only physically but also mentally and spiritually.
