Kerry Mcphillips

Kerry’s journey to yoga started over ten years ago as a healing process. Starting as such, she never expected it to turn into hernumber one passion in life. She started practicing Anusara yoga which is very alignment based and then explored from there.She completed her 200 hour certification in New Jersey, at Center for Health and Healing, with Dawn Keen in 2012. Kerry has taken many workshops focusing on vinyasa flow, inversions, hip openers, meditation, and also different breathing techniques. Kerry has a love of seeking yoga out everywhere she travels. She has studied in Costa Rica, Aruba, Hawaii and Peru.

The gift of yoga helped Kerry heal also, helped her become the woman she is today. Due to her daily practice she is now better equipped with the right tools to stay motivated, strong, independent, compassionate, and positive even through the ups and downs of life. She feels like yoga has saved her from living a life of unhappiness and sadness due to a life changing loss early in her life. Kerry has seen first-hand what yoga can do which is, what brought her to want to teach it. She shares the positive changes that yoga can have with students in her classes. Her goal is to guide everyone through their own practice so they can receive whatever they need and release anything that no longer serves a purpose.
