Kelli Michelle has been dancing all her life; with Zumba Fitness she has found her passion for dance and fitness. Kelli has 11 years experience as a Paramedic and is certified with the American Heart Association in CPR. Kelli is a Group Fitness Instructor specializing in Zumba Fitness with many components to this brand of fitness that enables her to help clients reach optimum fitness and wellness goals. Kelli is licensed in Basic Zumba, Basic 2, Zumba Gold (active older adults) Zumbatomic (kids 6-13 yrs), Aqua Zumba and Sentao (exercise in a stationary chair) and Strong By Zumba ( H.I.T.Program High Intensity Training)
She has performed in many Master Classes of Zumba, and has taught in some of St Maarten Gyms and Resorts. Along with other Zumba instructors, Kelli participated in the Instructional Zumba Video for ZIN 30 (Zumba Instructor Network) Members, working with Beto Perez, the creator and founder of Zumba.
Kelli has been featured as the opening act for the 17th and 18th Annual American Heart Association’s Heart Walk of the Palm Beaches; She was the opening act and got the crowd excited and warmed up for Autism Speaks. With the City of West Palm Beach, Kelli participated in the Get Fit program by demonstrating Zumba in front of 1000 employees. In 2010, with 80 other Zumba instructors, she performed as the halftime entertainment for the NBA Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks Basketball game to promote wellness for the Go Red for Women campaign, and also performed for the Miami Heat game Halftime Show. This was to highlight The American Heart Association.
Kelli Michelle was one of the featured dancers of a special session at the Annual Zumba Convention's Bahia Beat workshop where she along with four others instructors performed in a continuing education course demonstrating Brazilian dance from Northern Brazil accenting the Bahia culture, stemming from African and Caribbean influences introducing this form of dance to 200-500 fellow instructors. Kelli also was one of the featured dancers in the Mueve Ese Eskeleto video by International Artist Watatah Fiah Lion.
Kelli coordinated and planned an annual Master Class fund raisers benefiting Autism Speaks and Special Olympics Kelli. Kelli has a strong LOVE for Zumba and the effect on her clients, both physically and mentally. She is annually invited to teach at University School for the Teachers during their Annual Wellness and Fitness Retreat. She has been the featured several times as the halftime entertainment, at the annual University Circle Wade Oval Wednesday event, during the summer for 3 years. She had the great opportunity to perform recently at the Donate A Life Stage in June 2016 at Mall C, Downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
As a paramedic, for 10 years, for the City of Cleveland, she enjoyed her career helping others in critical care situations. Witnessing first hand, the value in living a healthy life, through wellness, has propelled her to focus on advocacy for others to help them live their best life. As a fitness professional, she thrives in the area of wellness and health and fitness. Her philosophy is designed to teach and show how to use nutrition and exercise to transform the body from inside out. To raise the level of fitness in all of her classes while challenging her clients to challenge them so they can achieve the maximum gain from their workouts and nutrition. Physical transformation is achieved by fitness coaching, meal planning with nutritional foods that are part of daily life so maximum desired results are achieved to live a happier healthier lifestyle.
