Maria Borders

Maria Borders, E-RYT-200 RYT-500, is a vibrant outgoing teacher, that is known for her “calming voice”.

 “It’s about my students. I want them to be free to create a peaceful space for themselves and their practice through breath and movement.”

 Maria believes that Yoga is about acceptance for one’s self, helping her students to find their connection to an inner peace one breath at at time. 

 Maria is married to Jeff Borders who is another Yoga teacher. They have three children. She is an Idaho native with strong ties to the military community. 

Maria has been practicing yoga since 2014 and received her RYT-200 from Essential Hot Yoga (EHY) in 2016 and just of obtained her E-RYT-200. She is currently working towards her RYT-300. 

Maria is the YogaSix Idaho RYT-200 Teacher Training Program Coordinator and teaches a variety of classes at YogaSix: Military Veterans Class, the Hot Signature class, Vinyasa and Yin. Maria continues to generously gives back to the community and the yoga practice that has given her so much.
