I was born and raised in upstate New York. Athletic and active from a very young age. Participated in sports all through school including soccer, basketball, swimming and track. Attended Siena College in Loudonville, NY where I was a member of the MAAC Division I Women's swim team. I graduated in 2001 with a BA in Political Science. After college I moved to Boston, MA. I married my husband in 2008. I continue to exercise and participate in 5 and 10K races. In 2010 I ran my first half marathon. In 2011 I ran the Wine Glass Marathon in Corning, NY. In 2012 I ran the Boston Marathon as part of the Red Sox Foundation team. In the fall of that same year I did the Witch City Sprint Triathlon. I also received my group fitness instructor certification through AFAA. I did small group training classes at the hotel I was working at for the employees there. In March of 2013 I gave birth to our first child. I continued to run on and off as I could. In 2015 I gave birth to our second child. I received my Spinning certification in October of 2016 and my PulsePoint Barre certification in 2017.
