Lisa Neville

In my 44years of life I have been an extremely active person.  From Hula dance lessons at age 3, to ballet, tap, competitive ice skating and gymnastics. After years of beating my body up and suffering the consequences of their long term effects I found both exercise and solace in Yoga. 

In 2012 Ii suffered a Meniscus tear from competitive Polynesian Dancing.  During recovery from the meniscus tear I found yoga was the only for of exercise that I could endure.  After being a student of yoga for more than 5 years I decided I wanted to spread my love of Yoga to others and embarked on the journey to obtain my 200 hour certification. 

In 2014 I began the teacher training course through my local Yoga studio, Perfect Balance Yoga Studio, in Fresno California.  Coincidentally I was also was newly pregnant.  This allowed me to simultaneously train as a prenatal Yoga instructor.

In March 2015 I completed the 200 hours course in 6 months and once my baby boy arrived I have been a Yoga instructor ever since.

Over the past 10 years, I have been able to explore yoga styles, such as restorative, rehabilitative, and yoga Nidra.
