Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of individualized training plans for gymnasts on the Canadian National Team
- Choreography of routines for gymnasts ranging from pre-competitive to senior national level, with the appropriate technical and artistic values
- Selection of music for competitive gymnasts
- Training all national level gymnasts of the club; three novice, four junior and two senior level gymnasts
- Holding talent identification sessions
- Traveling to competitions either as a judge or a coach
- Holding regular information sessions to parents
- Overseeing and organizing of the operation of the recreational and performing classes, including scheduling of practices and competitions; selection, training and evaluation of coaches
- Liaison with external organizations and experts such as Rhythmic Gymnastics Canada, Rhythmic Gymnastics Alberta
