I have always been athletic and active my whole life, and played sports through high school. Three years ago, in 2015, was when I discovered yoga. My dad had recently passed away and I knew I needed something for myself and was drawn to yoga. Since then, I have experienced immense benefits from the practice including a huge increase in flexibility, strength, physical definition, and huge growth in mindfulness, clarity of thoughts, and overall personal confidence. I find this ancient practice to be magical due to the benefits it has brought me and that is what excites me about teaching, is being able to teach and provide others the benefits yoga can offer. This practice can truly improve the quality of one's life immensely and is also sustainable throughout all of life. I completed my 200 hour teacher certification this October 2018 and have steadily taught weekly yoga classes since the beginning of 2017. I am confident as a teacher in providing a quality yoga class to students, anywhere from restorative to a power flow. I am motivated, personable, and enthusiastic and hope for the opportunity to teach yoga and provide all the benefits it has to offer to as many people as I can.
