Nigel is married to Gale, this year for 33 years.

Nigel retired is a Police Officer in 2019, he reached the level of Detective Chief Superintendent.

During his policing career, Nigel was deeply passionate and committed to his fitness and engaged in various sports, including football and golf.

Nigel also supported policing colleagues in maintaining their fitness programmes and dedication to exercise, focusing on supporting and coaching people to achieve their personal goals.

Nigel qualified as a fitness instructor in 2019, he has been working in the fitness industry for 7 years and has also been teaching with fitbodies as a traveling fitness professional for over 6 years.

Nigel has gained the following formal international fitness qualifications:

Diploma in Fitness (Level 3)

Gym Instructor Certification (Level 2)

Personal Trainer (Level 3)

Diploma in Pilates (Level 3)

Indoor Cycle Instructor

Diploma in Yoga (Level 3)

Certificate in Aqua Fitness – water-based fitness

Nigel is currently delivering Yoga, Pilates, Group Indoor cycling, Body Conditioning, HIIT classes, and Aqua Fitness across several fitness/gym providers based in Warrington, Cheshire, England, and the surrounding area.

Nigel enjoys teaching a range of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin. His classes are respectful of the traditions and history of yoga, they are engaging, varied, energising, and motivating.

Nigel is a very experienced Pilates instructor and is highly sought to deliver classes locally to his home. His Pilates classes are focused on developing core strength and improving mobility and balance in line with the original principles of Joseph Pilates. His classes are engaging, energetic, and fun.

Nigel is a very experienced group indoor cycle instructor. He teaches the signature product (Cyclone) for David Lloyds Clubs, an international Health Club Group based in the United Kingdom. His classes are focused on HIT (High Intensity) improving cardiovascular fitness; and strength building of the core leg muscle groups. His classes are designed with specific purposes, such as speed work, strength, and mixed terrain; powerful music and structured choreography ensure his classes achieve the class aim, they are challenging, engaging, and fun.

Nigel instructs a range of studio-based group exercise classes including, Total Body Workout, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Legs, Bums and Core, Bootcamp, and circuit-style classes. To deliver these classes to the highest level, Nigel has experience in and currently uses an extensive range of equipment, plates, bars, kettlebells, dumbbells, benches, mats, slam balls, sandbags, hurdles, speed ladder, and also individual body weight, to ensure classes are focused on developing functional ability, strength, cardiovascular fitness and mobility that is challenging and motivating.

Nigel ensures his aqua fitness classes are focused on being fun, engaging, and effective. I use a range of equipment including noodles and water dumbells, with all classes delivered to high energy, engaging music.

Nigel is a very experienced fitness instructor working with children and young people. He teaches specific child fitness classes, structured around strength, cardiovascular fitness, core, balance, and explosive power. He has completed additional training that allows him to teach children and undergoes an annual refresh of all such training.

Nigel has an enhanced level of vetting that allows him to work with children and he has completed safeguarding and child protection training, relating to working with children in the fitness industry, which is renewed annually.

Nigel also has experience teaching group exercise classes to elderly groups and low-impact circuits. He designs classes that specifically cater to those who have less mobility, ensuring the classes are fun and engaging.

Nigel works tirelessly to ensure his clients are engaged, motivated and achieve their objectives from any training session or group exercise class he instructs.

Nigel's main interests are in Fitness, Health, Nutrition, Reading, Gardening, DIY, Golf and general sport.

Nigel is excited to teach with Fitbodies. During the past 6 years, he has taught for over 60 weeks in Jamaica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the Maldives, instructing guests from across the world, with abilities and experience.

He is very excited at this opportunity, to meet new people and deliver his passion for fitness, health, and well-being.

His classes are unique and special because he takes so much time in planning his classes, he loves music and edits all his music tracks so that they are uniquely created to align with specific class goals or objectives.
