Yoga has impacted my life in a very positive way and I hope to pass along the life skills I have gleaned from yoga through teaching. I’ve become a more centered and mindful person through my own yoga practice and I can better concentrate on being a good mom, partner, friend, daughter, etc. when I am opening myself up through the movement and mindset brought on through yoga. It’s been a passion of mine for a long time now and I am so excited to be able to share this passion with others through the capacity as a yoga instructor.
I hope to inspire others to improve their wellness and commit to long term mind body goals using yoga as a tool. Through preparation and planning for each class, I will provide understanding of Asana (yoga posture) training, Pranayama (breathing techniques), and some meditation skills (if requested). Using conscientious lesson development, flowing posture sequences, music, and breathing techniques, students will feel that effort and care has been put into each class they attend. My yoga classes not only promote strength and flexibility, but also a general sense of well-being. Most importantly I endeavor to pay attention to the needs of all students throughout class.
