Hi! I am excited to combine my love for yoga and my profession in the human resource field to exceed expectations for fitness classes all over the world!
I’m hoping my philosophy of healing and strengthening through spirit, mind, and body will resonate with each one of my students. My fitness teaching methodology involves creating space and compassion to each yoga practice and exploring the “whole person.”
I started practicing yoga about ten years ago, primarily focusing on heated power yoga. In 2014, I started my yoga training - I became drawn to gentle yoga and meditation, and began my 200-hour training with Fitness Resource Association, and also received certification in Reiki I and II.
With gratitude, I have had the opportunity to share the gift of yoga in schools, senior centers, and fitness studios on the South Shore. I currently teach at Bay State Community Services as a worksite wellness specialist, where I teach the employees Yoga, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques. I also spend time teaching at Real Life Yoga, both in Quincy, Massachusetts.
I earned my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Cambridge College, which makes me perfect for teaching and working with people of all ages!
I'm currently a recruiter for 75% of my workday and 25% worksite wellness. I feel my enthusiastic approach as a recruiter helps me get people excited for yoga and taking care of themselves!
I use alignment principles, breathing techniques and Hatha style flow to guide students through a fun practice.
