Lindsey Escaja

Lindsey first explored yoga 8 years ago after a traumatic active shooting experience and hasn't left her mat since.  She even decided to take her practice to the next level and become a 200hr RYT and trauma-informed instructor in hopes that her story could empower others to see how yoga can be a healing force, not just a physical exercise.  Ask Lindsey what she loves about yoga and she will tell you that yoga brings confidence, it quiets the mind, helps build a healthy body, and cultivates patience, gratitude, kindness, and focus.  Since becoming certified, Lindsey has taught trauma-informed yoga to women veterans and inner city kids in the Columbus community, as well as amputee yoga.  When she isn't teaching or taking yoga, you can find Lindsey with her nose deep in a book, freelance writing, snuggling with her dogs, or out on some big adventure, she is a Sagittarius after all.
