My Yoga & Pilates journey started nearly 2 decades ago giving me years of vitality, healing and joy…the gift that keeps on giving! When the time was right, I decided to plunge into teaching both modalities in the hope of sharing the same benefits that I realized from my own practice. The formats I teach are classical Pilates mat blended with contemporary, Vinyasa/Power Yoga with meditation/breathwork weaved in and lastly mobility/stretching classes. My teaching style is compassionate, creative and challenging for all walks of life. What drives me is to help people move with confidence, ease and safely, so you can be your best on and off the mat.
Having a practice of Yoga & Pilates has given me greater freedom of movement and lead a more intentional life. It helps me do other things with greater ease whether it is playing golf, strength training or simply ADL (Activities of daily living). Other ways I like to move are HITT/cardio class, hiking and nature walking.
I hold certifications for Group Fitness Instructor with ACE (American Council on Exercise), Pilates Mat with Equinox Fitness NYC and RYT-200 Yoga Teacher with Yoga & Ayurveda Center. My clientele in the past 9 years is Corporate Fitness, big box gyms, yoga studios, senior facilities, health clubs, country clubs and resorts.
Travel destinations I have a great love for are Hawaii, Italy, Germany & Dominican Republic having traveled abroad for many decades. I look forward to new adventures with Fit Bodies taking my love for teaching fitness & wellness to all walks of life.
