I grew up in Atlanta, then moved to Northern Florida for college at Stetson University. Unfortunately, my mother got sick with cancer, so I came home to help her and be with the family. After she passed away, I decided it was now or never that I try the modeling world. I moved to Miami in my early 20s where I started fashion, lifestyle and runway modeling. This took me all over the world. After a few years, I decided to take a break from that world and get my college degree. I received my Bachelor of Sciences from University of Florida in Health Education with a specialization in Health Promotion. I quickly got my personal fitness certification and Lifestyle and Weight Management certification from ACE. I decided to move back to Miami where I met my future husband. After we got married, we enjoyed our time together traveling, playing with our dogs, and working. I then had my first son and continued working. Three and a half years later, I had my second son. I continue to work and raise my children. Our family is very health oriented and we enjoying doing many activities together including biking, swimming, and playing basketball.
