I am a full time Flight Attendant and part time Group Fitness Instructor living in Houston, TX. I have 2 grown children and 1 grandchild. I have been teaching Group Fitness classes for the last five years and I'm enjoying every moment of this part of my journey in life.

I am a life long lover of group fitness classes! I remember going to the gym in the 90s for step aerobics classes and also doing Tae Bo with Billy Blanks at home. For me, exercising has always been a way to get healthy, lose weight. challenge myself and make friends. Even though I have always loved going to the gym and working out, I did not have the self-confidence and courage to become a Group Fitness Instructor until 2014 and after losing 80 lbs by making healthier eating choices, running and taking various classes at the gym. My first certification was in Soul Grooves, which is a dance based fitness class. I began working for Blast Fitness and Gold's Gym and then RIPPED, Kickboxing and Zumba to my list of certifications in 2014. I recently added Strong By Zumba to my certifications and I'm working on completing my Body Pump certification as well. In addition to these certifications, I am also an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor (2016) and a NASM certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist (2019).
