I graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado in 2009 with a degree in Interior Design with an emphasis on Universal and ADA compliant design, shortly after that I attended the Ann Rose School of nursing and became a Certified Nurse Aide. I then started working full time for a home builder and part time for a home health nursing agency, but quickly found health care exceptionally more rewarding and transitioned to working full time in home health care. In 2017 I continued to follow my passion for health and wellness and became a registered yoga teacher and now teache yoga part time as well as continuing to work in home health care. My younger sister uses assistive technology to communicate and through that experience I have became a member on the board of directors for a non profit, Let’s Talk Communication Access Initiative, that focuses on providing inclusive events for assistive technology users.
