I am an athletic 34 year old male. I have been married for over 8 years and have a beautiful daughter. Starting in 2002, after joining the Army, I started learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That initial point of learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has evolved into a 16-year journey in learning about more than just self defense. Jiu Jitsu has provided my fellow Veterans, police and first responders, and the every day human the opportunity to focus on their Mental and Physical health. After I left the Army and returned home to Tulsa, Oklahoma where I have trained jiu jitsu within my community ever since. I currently own and operate my own business, Knock on Wood Custom. The freedom that comes with operating my own business allows me to take time throughout the week and teach jiu jitsu to youths and adults. I specialize and focus in teaching no-gi (without a gi) as well as gi Jiu Jitsu with additional knowledge in wrestling, judo, and personal training. I currently teach multiple times throughout the week.
