I rowed boats for nearly 6 years of my life completely. When I quit rowing I knew my athletic career was not over. My years rowing had created a passion for exercise and fitness within me. I began working with family members and friends casually to build training plans until I decided to make it a part of my life. I love being able to share my expertise and commitment to exercise with those in my family and community. Exercise has helped me combat sickness and some trying emotional times in my life. I know that the benefits are numerous once a person begins to engage. Outside of exercise I also grew up with my mother as a chef and on a large farm. I have always grown up with a love and appreciation for healthy and sustainably sourced food. Joining the fitness community felt natural to me because of my inclination toward food and health. Finally, I also appreciate the creativity present in a healthy lifestyle. Being able to create new workouts, playlists, and menus every week keeps my mind thinking and engaged. Without fitness I am not sure where I would be.
