Educational Bio

Clarence G. Cruz is an art educator, artist and metacognitive specialist currently living in Ohio. He was born in Arizona Tempe, where he was inspired by the megalithic beauty of the Grand Canyon to be a painter. He and his family then relocated to Illinois Chicago, where he continued his studies eventually receiving his Bachelors in painting and Art History from the Art Institute of Chicago. Afterwards, he continued his education in Ohio at the University of Cincinnati where he received his Master’s degree in Visual art Education. Clarence is dedicated in exploring and expanding his consciousness through creating different works of art and learning different philosophies and metacognition practices. Currently, Clarence is teaching a metacognitive visual drawing class at a Montessori School in Cincinnati and painting murals for clients and  teaching a 1500-year-old Kundalini Yogic practice, specializing in pranayama, asanas and kriya sets, shavasana/ Yoga Nidra and transcendental meditations.  

Yoga Bio:

Clarence G. Cruz is a KRI certified  Kundalini Yoga instructor who has for two years been  teaching a class series that offers   continuous opportunities for participants to tap into their own unique creative powers inside different energy centers in the body. His classes have warm-ups, a kriya set, shavasana, followed by a unique transcendental meditation and capstone art project. Participants walk away with a wider perspective of their own creative potential in creating what they want in their life.
