I teach chair yoga, Yoga Nidra and a gentle flow class.My mat class will leave students on the floor, either seated on all fours or prone or supine. We never stand. I emphasis the large joints of the body the hips, spine and shoulders. My class is great for every body, any one will and every one is able to participate. I also specialize in connecting the breath with the body and mind, allowing ourselves to sink into our mats, knowing all we truly need is right here on the mat.
I am YogaFit Certified for my initial RYT200. I have studied at Duke University School of Integrated Medicine, teaching yoga to seniors. I have been certified and volunteered years teaching yoga to veterans with PTSD.
I am ERYT500 thru Yoga Alliance. I have been teaching going on ten years. I currently teach 8 group classes a week and 3 private sessions. I am also a Yoga Teacher Trainer for White Crow Yoga and a CEU provider with Yoga Alliance.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
