Tina Montgomery

After serving 29 years in the U. S. Army, I retired home to Michigan with the goal of continuing my service  . . . this time helping others gain the knowledge and motivation needed to improve their health through fitness.

Having received an Associate in Arts degrees from Delta College (1987), a Bachelor of Arts and Secondary Teaching from Saginaw Valley State University (1990), and a Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University (1994), I decided to return to Delta to add to the fitness knowledge I acquired during my military service.

I was certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Group Fitness Instructor in November, 2018, and am scheduled to certify as a personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in April, 2019. I will complete my coursework for an associate degree as a Health Fitness Specialist in April, 2019.

Fitness has many components and the importance of those components change throughout our life. At 4Life Fitness the goal is to identify which of these components is going to help individuals live their lives to the fullest and build a foundation for a future that isn’t dictated by the numbers on their scale or birth certificate.
