My passion for group fitness began in college where I taught an early morning low impact class to faculty and staff when most of my friends were still in bed. After graduating college with a degree to teach English, I moved to Auburn, AL with my husband. During the day, I teach drama and writing to 7th graders, but at night and on weekends, I am lucky enough to teach group fitness classes. I enjoy helping others reach their fitness goals and inspiring them to make exercise that they enjoy a part of their life forever. I enjoy teaching any kind of group fitness classes, but cardio dance and kickboxing are my absolute favorites. Kickboxing is a great stress-relieve along with being a kick-butt work out and cardio dance classes allow you to laugh and have a good time and not even realize you had a full body work out until its over!
