Pamela Hinton

     Pam has  always been a lover of physical activity in a natural setting. She was raised on a ranch where she spent her days swimming, riding her bicycle and horse, and tending to ranch duties. In school she was active in many sports and cheerleading. She completed a degree in Applied Learning and Developement at the University of Texas in Austin . During her years in college, and before her marriage to her husband of 36 years,  she worked in fitness gyms. Her job was to lead aerobics classes and instruct members on how to use the equipment and to be a personal trainer. Her life hasn’t changed a lot. She lives on a farm in the Texas Hill country where she raised two children and now is an empty nester. She can’t remember a time she wasn’t involved in fitness in some form or fashion. She is either in the arena teaching horseback riding lessons, competing in horse reining  competitions, caring for her farm, spending time in the gym or teaching yoga. 

     Over the past eight years, yoga has become an important part of her life. She realizes the extraordinary benefits of yoga. The mind, body, and breath connection are so valuable. Yoga created a space for her to be free from distractions and achieve a higher awareness and fulfillment. She wanted to learn more, so she became a certified yoga instructor. She loves sharing her passion for yoga and its rewards with family, friends, and students. She believes yoga can benefit everyone. It can be both challenging and relaxing. Yoga provides for an individual experience that is quite personal for each practitioner. It should always be  joyful,  balanced,  refreshing, and nourishing. As a yoga instructor it is important that she provides encouragement and support. She weaves inspirational and positive meditations into her classes. Her goal is to enable her students to grow stronger and more flexible and to live each moment more mindfully. She will always be a student of the practice and continue to educate herself with all the healing and beneficial aspects of Yoga. It is a great addition to any lifestyle or exercise regime.
