Kimberly Bernstein

Hello.

I’m Kimberly. I really only like to be called Kimberly.

I am so happy you are here. I love reading other people’s introduction posts so I thought it would be fun to have my own. You may not be new here. But I feel new here. So I will take a paragraph, or a post, or several, to tell you who I am.

I have 44 years of life, which I almost do not want to tell you because I was listening to a healing share from last weekend and had a lot of new ideas about the concept of age. I am still pondering.

Three humans call me mom. I live with them, and my partner, the love of my life, Jen. Almost 3 years ago my then husband, now wasband, Ryan, and I moved from Austin, Texas to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico with our kids and giant goldendoodle. We are doing our best, creating something new and beautiful and supportive. We have more loving moments and challenging ones, sometimes at the same time.

The theme of every choice I have made about how I contribute in the earthplane is that I help people heal themselves. I’ve been a social worker, clinical therapist, fitness instructor and trainer. I am a yoga teacher and energy healer. Over the past year I have cultivated a small client list of spiritual and therapeutic coaching clients. I have a wellness business. I have had a lot of healing of my own to do, and have so many supportive tools to share.

Most recently I have spent the past two years studying intently with Desiree Rumbaugh and have learned so much about how asana practice is a tool for reflection and healing.

“How where you able to move to Mexico?” is a question I have been asked a lot, almost as often as “Why did you move to Mexico?”  I have tons to say about that, and what it’s like to raise children as guests in Mèxico!
